Resource Overview
This winter / holiday themed word problem quest will take your student on a real-world adventure while having them solve either multiplication or both multiplication and long division on worksheets.
What does this include?
The multiplication includes:
1 digit by 1 digit
1 digit by 2 digit
1 digit by 3 digit
1 digit by 4 digit
2 digit by 2 digit
The division problems include:
Two digit dividend & one digit divisor with no remainder
Two digit dividend & one digit divisor with remainder
Three digit dividend & one digit divisor with no remainder
Three digit dividend & one digit divisor with remainder
Four digit dividend & one digit divisor with no remainder
Four digit dividend & one digit divisor with remainder
This is one of the best ways to allow students to practice how to multiply and divide, as it is very engaging for students. My students LOVE how it incorporates reading and math skills.
Who is this for?
This product is perfect for 4th graders, but can be used for other grades as well. The levels work seamlessly with Eureka Grade 4 Module 3 steps to learning how to multiply and divide. This is one of the best ways I have found for my students to practice these skills.
This is not geared towards any specific holiday, with the intent of making everyone feel included. Students can have fun doing this if they celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and more!
What can this be used for?
Any of this can be done as teams or as independent work. This can be used for morning work, review, early finishers, math centers, skill mastery, sub plans, holiday party game (make teams), small groups, or independent work.
